FAS confirms presence in the International Forum on Sustainability

Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation – FAS and president of Videolar, Lirio Parisotto, and the general superintendent of the institution, Virgilio Viana, They confirmed their presence as panelists at the International Forum on Sustainability, promoted by Deal, in Manaus, days 26 until 27.

 Lily Parisotto will be one of the panelists of the first day of the event, during the theme "Corporate responsibility in creating a sustainable economy in the Amazon". While Virgilio Viana, on the second day of the Forum, debate the theme "REDD and other mechanisms for the economic valuation of tropical forests. What is the potential of environmental services?”.

The International Sustainability Forum will be held by the Seminars and promoted by LIDE, with support from the Government of Amazonas, no Hotel Tropical, in Manaus (AM), Economic and discuss Sustainability, Environmental and Social to Amazon. The event will feature lectures from the world leader and Nobel Peace Prize, Al Gore, ex-vice-presidente dos Estados Unidos, filmmaker James Cameron, director blockbusters like "Avatar” e “Titanic” and with the participation of the scientist and the American ecologist, pioneered Amazon research, Thomas Lovejoy. The host of the Forum will be the governor of Amazonas, Eduardo Braga.
