Encerra nesta segunda-feira (day 15/11), o ‘1º Forest Music Festival – Forest Fest ', Billiards in Park (entry by Djalma Batista), √†s 18h. In search of the appreciation of the artistry of forest guardians, o festival vai premiar os melhores intérpretes moradores das unidades de conservação estaduais atendidas pelo Programa Bolsa Floresta. The event is held by the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation, in partnership with the group Imba√ļba.

“Queremos valorizar o homem da floresta, cause they are valued in the community. Our view is that culture is a way to promote sustainable involvement in these communities ", Declare Virg√≠lio Viana, FAS CEO.

Na primeira fase do Festival, foram feitas eliminatórias nas unidades de conservação estaduais atendidas pelo Programa Bolsa Floresta, que é gerido pela FAS. Os três classificados desta fase inciial agora disputam a grande final em Manaus. Eles são genuínos representantes de algumas áreas protegidas do Estado como RDS Uatumã, Black River RDS, BB Rio Negro, Florest Mau√©s, Juma Reserve, RDS do Madeira, RDS Amap√°, Purus RDS Piaga√ßu, RDS Uacari, Resex Gregório, Amana RDS, RDS Mamirauá e RDS Canumã.

São homens e mulheres, entre a faixa etária de 13 a 60 years, que disputaram e venceram os demais candidatos de sua região. Com o objetivo de unir música, cultura e conservação da natureza, além de revelar ao mundo os talentos escondidos no seio da Floresta Amazônica, o Floresta Fest foi dividido em duas fases: a fase eliminatória, que premiou o primeiro, segundo e terceiro colocados em cada unidade de conservação com R$ 500, R$ 300 and R$ 200, respectively; e esta fase final, que premiará o primeiro colocado com R$ 5 a thousand, o terceiro com R$ 3 mil e o terceiro com R$ 2 a thousand.

Besides participating in the end of the Festival, todos os finalistas terão oportunidade de gravar em estúdio as músicas vencedoras da primeira fase, that will compose the CD Festival. Segundo o regulamento, as músicas concorrentes deveriam ser de autoria própria e baseadas no cotidiano amazônico, in the forest and cultural universe of the peoples of the region. In the preparation, candidates participated in a workshop with the musicians Celdo Lima and Roberto Braga, group Imba√ļba, and received instructions about the final settlement of the compositions and musical arrangements.

The Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) is a public-private institution, nonprofit, non-governmental and non-partisan political ties, founded on 20 December 2007, through a partnership between the state government of Amazonas and Bradesco. Imba√ļba The group was created in May 2007 the poet Celdo Braga. The group borrows the name of a tree is a symbol of resistance, also known as mother-of-earth. His proposal is to gather the sound hues of nature: to tribal ritualidade, the nuances of birdsong, the ethereal dance of the ancient trees of the Amazon, a projection of synesthetic rhythms and organic sounds that promote perfect harmony of the senses.
