started, Wednesday (2), the first training of Alfabetizando Project in Forest, the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation initiative (FAS) which aims to encourage literacy 1000 Conservation Units students (CUs) do Amazonas. The project is a co-realization with the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef), in technical partnership with the Institute probem, the Federal University of Cear√° (UFC) and has the support of Samsung. The opening was held in the Auditorium Lidia Parisotto, FAS headquarters, Rua √Ālvaro Braga, 351, Park 10 November.

The initiative aims to help 14 municipalities in the organization and execution of child literacy strategies, and so, collaborate to achieve the target set by the All for Education Commitment (Ministry of Education / School Development Plan) that all children under eight years old are literate.

The project will involve a series of pedagogical strategies for coordinators and teachers from seven protected areas of the Amazon: Sustainable Development Reserves (RDSs) Rio Negro, Uatumã, Juma, Mamirauá, Madeira, Cujubim and State Forest (Flores) Maués.

Must participate in the initiative 28 coordinators and 150 teachers in the municipalities of Maués, New Aripuanã, Jutaí, Uarini, Maraã, Alvarães, Iranduba, Manacapuru, New Airao, San Sebastian Uatumã, Itapiranga, Presidente Figueiredo, Manipur and Borba. The first meeting will have a schedule of 16h, with a two-day program that emphasizes the integral education as a strategy for the development of children's autonomy.

Program of education and health

The Program of Health and Education (PES) promotes activities aimed at increasing and upgrading the provision of health and education services to the local communities, em parceria com a Samsung e o Banco Bradesco. The program has as its frame of reference in the Conservation Units (CUs), The Centers for Conservation and Sustainability (CSCs), which house schools and Middle Elementary School II. And, from two cores, activities are developed to support schools in the early grades of elementary school in RDSS, and basic vocational qualification actions for communities.
