FAS opens vacancy for Technical Analyst Notice 'Standing in Forest’

The Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) released, Friday (17/03), tender for the technical analyst hiring of Notice “Standing in Forest” to track and monitor sustainable clusters projects in surrounding areas and mosaics of protected areas and ecological corridors in the Amazon. The FAS and the Amazon Fund will support sustainable productive projects in communities in the surrounding areas and mosaics of protected areas and ecological corridors in the Amazon through the foot in Forest Notice, to be launched by FAS. This aims to encourage sustainable production arrangements, entrepreneurship community based, contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDSN), and strengthen grassroots associations creating more sustainable financial mechanisms for investment in community social infrastructure.

The professional should support the coordination of Forest Notice standing in all activities related to this component; promote the dissemination of the call object of this component, attending events and meetings in the capital and interior of the state of Amazonas, in order to encourage local participation and promote the clarification of doubts about the same; support local organizations in developing proposals for promising initiatives, and in relation to documents required for participation in the tender indicating the means to obtain or to regularize the documents referred to; examine the documentation submitted, verify its adequacy and authenticity and subsidize emission opinion by coordination about them; add technical knowledge or facilitate access to experts in the thematic, in order to qualify the proposals for development within the component.

Furthermore, the contractor should examine the feasibility and potential positive impact of the proposals and issue opinions to support the analysis of the selection committee; support the organization of training and capacity building events on various themes; ensure the scanning and saves all relevant documentation to prove the regularity of the tender process; support the monitoring of the projects approved under the notice, in order to ensure their effective implementation and strict accordance with the approved terms, communicating and acting to remedy any problems or deviations identified or reported; support the management of the delivery schedule of technical reports and account services; organizar e cumprir calendário de monitoramento in loco dos projetos, developing field of executive reports with any referrals; and prepare consolidated reports on the status of ongoing projects.

São requisitos mínimos exigidos aos candidatos: top-level professional or technical in Agroecology (with, no mínimo, 2 years of experience); performance in socio-productive inclusion initiatives, generating jobs and income; experience in project monitoring; willingness to travel to the interior of Amazonas (air and river transport); experience in working with communities in the Amazon is desirable.
