FAS selects intern in forest engineering

The Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) launched on Wednesday (12) tender for the selection of a trainee in the forestry area. The student will participate in activities related to the wood production chain,
developed in protected areas (UC) assisted by the Bolsa Floresta program.

The intern will support the planning and implementation of activities that promote sustainable use of forest resources, including the activities that make up the forest management, licensing movelarias and potential of non-timber surveys of practice areas. He will participate in field visits, and assist in reporting, execution of field activities, preparation of projects and action for the supply chain of timber.

The applicant must be a student of Forestry, preferably in the traineeship period graduation, having studied the disciplines of Dendrometry and Forest Inventory, to master issues related to forest management on a small scale, good writing texts, domain in excel spreadsheets, willingness to travel related to the stage.

The intern will be entitled to stage grant in the amount of R $ 800,00 for or period 30 week hours (06 hours a day), ticket transmission and power assistance to the stage of period.
