SIGN UP: FAS selects two students for exchange between Brazil and Germany

The Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) selects until next Friday (9) two college students to participate in the International Project workcamp, an exchange of sustainability experience between Brazil and Germany's young. Those selected will participate in person two immersions: one in Manaus, days 6 until 16 March, and another in Germany, entre os dias 15 until 28 April 2018.

The initiative is led jointly the German NGO SDW and Solutions Network for Sustainable Development Youth Amazon (SDSN Youth Amazonia), of the United Nations (UN).

The "International workcamp - Young specialists in sustainable forest management" aims to promote the exchange of issues aimed at sustainable use of forests between the two countries. Germany's young people will come to Brazil in March, and young Brazilians disembark in Germany for a stay of 13 days, where they can exchange experiences for the conservation and management of forests.

To sign up, young people must be aged between 18 until 25 years, be attending some college degree in the Amazon and be with passport days, more maturity than six months. It is desirable to be able to communicate in English.
