Breathing problems increased feeling of warmth, to the acceleration of global warming on Earth, fires in forest areas in the Amazon not only cause damage to the environment but also cause serious problems to human health of the Amazon population.

Discuss the impact of these wildfires to health and well-being of society is the goal of the workshop "Impacts of Pollution from Forest Fires in Public Health in the Amazon", what happens on Monday (3), in Manaus, from 14h, at the headquarters of the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS), The red Alvaro Braga, No. 351, Ten Park neighborhood, Central area south of the capital.

Promoted by FAS, The seminar will bring together experts in environment and health, including the general superintendent of FAS, Virgilio Viana; the doctor, researcher and professor at the University of São Paulo (USP) Paulo Saldiva; the rector of the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA) and Doctor Costa Cleinaldo; Dr. professor at the University Nilton Lins Ilsa Maria Coelho; and the rector of the Open University of the Third Age of UEA (CAUSED), doctor Euler Ribeiro.
